From 2001 to 2020, selected area lost 1.93Mha of tree cover, equivalent to a 5.0% decrease in tree cover since 2000. Trees are vital. As the biggest plants on the planet, they give us oxygen, store carbon, stabilise the soil and give life to the world's wildlife.
When we plant a tree, we are doing what we can to make our planet a more wholesome and happier dwelling.
